RF TECHNICIAN

Ø      Associates degree or equivalent experience in RF electronics or accelerators.

Ø      5 years of relevant experience

Ø      Ability to perform RF measurements of cavities and circuits using state-of-the-art equipment.

Ø      Familiarity with Labview use and programming.

Ø      Ability to document measurements in the form of memos and reports.

Ø      Familiarity and capability with machine tools and precision mechanical assembly a plus.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Ø      Masters degree in engineering.

Ø      10 years experience in positions of increasing responsibility in design and manufacturing of technically complex components.

Ø      Demonstrated ability to work with and manage the work of a multi-disciplined group of scientists, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel to complete design and manufacturing projects on cost and schedule.

Ø      Demonstrated ability to work with and oversee the work of subcontractors and suppliers from the point of source selection through receipt of the product or service.

Ø      Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with customers in both formal presentations and informal working environments.

Ø      Good working knowledge of manufacturing methods and practices including CNC machining, welding, brazing, and mechanical assembly and integration.

Ø      Highly competent in the use of one or more 3-D solid modeling CAD systems to develop and document design information.  Pro-Engineer competency desired.

Ø      Familiar with the use of finite element modeling and thermal/structural analysis with ability to perform scoping level analysis and calculations.

Ø      Working knowledge of ultra-high vacuum systems, cryogenics, precision electro-mechanical motion systems, and radio frequency accelerator structures is highly desired.

THERMO-STRUCTURAL ANALYST

Ø      Masters degree in engineering with emphasis in structures and/or heat transfer.

Ø      10 years experience in positions of increasing responsibility.

Ø      Highly competent in the use of ANSYS Multiphysics finite element analysis package for structural, thermal, and high frequency electromagnetic analysis.

Ø      Knowledge of fluid mechanics

Ø      Competent in computer programming.  Knowledge of Fortran desired.

Ø      Demonstrated ability to perform complex analysis tasks with minimum supervision and to interface with members of a multi-disciplined group of scientists, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
